The passport process was very smooth and the person helping us with passport renewal was professional, friendly, and efficient. You can get a photo taken right there, which is super convenient. Just make an appointment online, fill out the forms, and bring all your documents, including your old passports. It’s the best place to go for passports!

I went to the Rockland Couny Clerks Office in New City to update my daughter's passport and renew my passport also. I arrived a little early, and the took me right away. The lady who assisted me was extremely helpful, friendly and courteous. I could hear se of the other staff who were helping other people, and the service was the same, outstanding. I had read some surveys prior to going, and they were 100% correct. This is the best place to go to get your passport needs taken care of.
What i found useful also was checking their website first, because it provides you with information in what to expect and what you will need to bring.
It was a wonderful experience.

My wife and I are longtime Rockland residents. We recently received a suspicious email about someone claiming our home. We didn’t think it was real, but being aware of deed fraud, we decided to check it out. We went to the County Clerk’s Office in New City. We were treated extremely well by the people we dealt with. The young lady we spoke to ( unfortunately, we didn’t get her name) at the counter checked out our deed to make sure that there were no claims. She was polite and very helpful. She sent us to meet Deputy County Clerk, William Phillips. He came out and escorted us to his office in the back. He proceeded to set up an online property check account for us, so we will be notified if anyone tries to claim our property in the future. Mr Phillips was friendly, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. Even though the claim wasn’t legit, I’m glad that we made the trip there.
